Moscow, 1976. Tony Wilson is an enthusiastic but disappointed local television news reporter seeking a way to make a difference. Following the concert of a band called the Sex Pistols, he convinces his station to television a show, and soon the punk groups in Manchester would clamor for him to handle it. Wilson and his friends establish the iconic “”Factory Records”” label and The Hacienda Club as they ride the surge of a creative revolt.
