A player on the verge of being played.
Philippe Petit, a French tightrope walker, walked out on an allegedly wired high wire between New York’s World Trade Center twin towers, which were then the world’s tallest structures, on August 7th, 1974. He was apprehended after about an hour of performing on the cable, 1,350 foot above Manhattan’s sidewalks. Philippe Petit’s “”best”” accomplishment is chronicled in this entertaining and enthralling documentary.
