Jack Mabry, a parole officer with just a couple weeks remaining before retiring, wants to complete the cases he’s been given. Gerald ‘Stone’ Creeson, a convicted arsonist who is up for release, is one such example. At first, Jack is unable to include Stone in the crude banter he desires, and he has no sympathy for the prisoner’s pleas for an early release. Stone arranges for his wife to seduce the officer because he doesn’t think he can persuade Jack himself, but motivations and goals gradually blur amidst the emotions and buried secrets of the twisted players in this dangerous game of deceit.
