As assassin Robert Rath appears at a funeral to assassinate a powerful mafia figure, he witnesses a competing hired gun finish the job for him, with horrifying consequences. Rath agrees to take one more work before returning to normal life, horrified by the massacre of innocent bystanders. But, when Rath falls for his female goal and becomes a marked man himself, escaping the realm of contract killing becomes more dangerous.
