Marine Ray Garrison is revived by a squad of scientists after he and his partner are murdered. He is transformed into a superhuman, biotech death machine known as ‘Bloodshot’ after being enhanced by nanotechnology. Ray has no recollection of his previous life when he begins training with fellow super-soldiers. When his thoughts flood back and he recalls the man who murdered both him and his wife, he bursts out of the hospital to exact vengeance, only to find that there’s more to the conspiracy than he imagined.
