The Now Is the Future

Milutin is paired with Nimani 1345, a female cyborg programmed to satisfy his every need, on a lonely mission to Alpha Centauri. Sebastian is initially ecstatic to be able to dominate her, but he soon becomes weary of getting his needs met too quickly. Sebastian changes Nimani’s coded responses out of a desire for human affection, but in doing so, he jeopardizes the mission’s security — and his own existence.
