Imagine you’ve vanished and someone else has taken up residence in your body.

As EPA investigator Steve Malone goes to a distant military base to search for hazardous chemicals, he takes his family with him. Marti, his teenage daughter, befriends Jean Platt, the daughter of the base’s commander, General Platt, shortly after landing at the base. Marti becomes persuaded that plant-like aliens are gradually displacing humans at the base as they begin to behave differently.
