Bobby Bowfinger, on the brink of ruin and looking for his big break, concocts an insane scheme to create his ultimate fantasy movie. He assembles a motley crew, which involves a starry-eyed ingenue, a has-been diva, and a production studio gofer, and heads out to capture a blockbuster starring Hollywood’s biggest star, Kit Ramsey, without having Ramsey realize he’s in it.
