Ben ‘Bugsy’ Siegel, a New York gangster, travels to Los Angeles on a business tour. Siegel is a sharp-dressed womanizer with a bad temper who can murder or maim someone who crosses him. While his family waits back home in L.A., he is detained by the city, the movies, and, most importantly, the strong-willed Virginia Hill. And he gets his great concept after visiting a run-down casino joint in the desert town of Las Vegas.
