Writer Lee’s work and personal life have come to a halt, so he divorces his shy partner, Robin, and begins a new career as an entertainment journalist. His assignments carry him to the swankiest parts of Manhattan, but when he bounces from one extravagant party to the next and joins in a string of hollow romances, he begins to question the value of his career. Meanwhile, Robin falls for Tony, a top TV executive, and he exposes her to the world of celebrities.
