Cheech and Chong, perpetually stoned, tear through Los Angeles, creating havoc everywhere they go. After Cheech leaves his employment, the two potheads go to Cheech’s girlfriend, Donna, who works at the welfare clinic. Instead of receiving unemployment benefits, they are put out into the road, looking for a fresh source of money. Things become much crazier as Cheech’s nephew, “”Red”” Mendoza, appears.
