The bronze heads of the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals is sacked by the French and British armies from the imperial Summer Palace in Beijing in 1860. Asian Hawk (Jackie Chan) guides a mercenary squad to retrieve some missing objects from the Old Summer Palace. Hawk, with the help of a Chinese student and a Parisian woman, would go to every length to complete the task.
