Overview
As Mary Elizabeth Steppe, a.k.a. Lola, travels from New York to Dellwood, New Jersey with her mother and two smaller twin sisters, she feels as if her cultural and entertaining world has come to an end. During her time at college, the displaced Lola befriends the unpopular Ella, who is also a huge fan of her favourite rock band, Sidarthur. Carla Santini, the most successful girl at school, disagrees with Lola about the lead role in a Pygmalion adaptation and the leadership of their peers. As Sidarthur’s last concert is sold out, Lola and Ella decide to fly to New York and purchase tickets from scalpers. However, when assisting the lead singer and Lola’s hero, Stu Wolf, the girls get themselves into trouble, forever altering their lives.
