Overview

Coraline is bored and ignored by her parents as she moves to an old home. She discovers a locked door that leads to a bricked-up hallway. She crosses the passage in the middle of the night and discovers a parallel universe where everybody has buttons instead of pupils, loving parents, and all of her dreams come true. Coraline rejects the Other Mother’s invitation to remain in her universe forever, and discovers that the alternative existence in which she is stuck is just a ruse to entice her.
