The Mitchell family, Henry, Alice, and their only child Dennis, an enthusiastic, trouble-prone, mischievous, yet well-meaning guy, often tangles with his peace-and-quiet-loving neighbor George Wilson, a retired salesman, or, later, with George’s brother John, a novelist, in this 1959-1963 television situation comedy series. Dennis is a kind, well-intentioned young man who often wants to support someone but ends up getting it harder – always at Mr. Wilson’s cost.
