The wife and mistress of a ruthless schoolmaster are working together on an executed and well-planned plot to kill him. The scheme goes fine before the conveniently discarded body disappears. The effort began to warn the two women, as a former police officer looking at the disappearance on a whim, that they knew better than they told him, and that their state of mind was not improved until one of the pupils saw their victims, apparently alive and healthy.
