Dancer Christina is visited nightly by the obsessed Francis, a troubled tax inspector, at the upscale Toronto strip club Exotica. And as he introduces her onstage, her ex-boyfriend, the club’s MC, Eric, also pines for her, but Eric is experiencing his own relationship issues with the club’s female boss.
