Her life isn’t exactly a fairy story.

After her mother, Ramona, is arrested, Vanessa Lutz tries to track down her estranged grandmother. Bob Wolverton, the school psychologist, gives her a lift on the way. On the ride, Lutz realizes Bob is the infamous I-5 Killer and tries to flee by shooting him several times. In this contemporary retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, Bob pursues Lutz around the state, wounded but still alive.
