Human Nature is a metaphysical burlesque that follows the ups and downs of an obsessed physicist, a female naturalist, and the guy they encounter in the wild, born and bred. Although scientist Nathan teaches the wild man Puff the ways of the earth, beginning with table manners, Nathan’s girlfriend Lila struggles to protect the man’s simian past, which reflects a level of independence envied by others.
