Overview
Due to a chance meeting with an alien teleportation system, two Soviet humans previously unknown to each other are transferred to the planet Pluke in the Kin-dza-da galaxy. If they still expect to return to Earth, they must overcome a language barrier as well as Plukian societal conventions (not to mention the rules of space and time).
