Lizzie Borden is a legend.

The year is 1892 in Massachusetts. Lizzie, a 32-year-old unmarried social outcast, lives a claustrophobic existence under her father’s freezing and domineering influence. Lizzie meets a sympathetic, kindred soul in Bridget Sullivan, a young maid who comes to work for the house, and a latent intimacy quickly blossoms into a wicked scheme.
