It is a remake of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol, with Scrooge McDuck portraying Ebenezer Scrooge and Mickey Mouse portraying Bob Cratchit. This film was based on Disney’s A Christmas Carol, an audio musical released in 1972. It’s a twenty-four minute animated short film created by Walt Disney Productions as a companion piece to The Rescuers’ re-release.
