Overview

Ethan Hunt and his colleagues are in a race against time to apprehend Hendricks, a deadly militant who has obtained access to Russian nuclear launch codes and is plotting an attack on the US. An effort to save him results in a massive explosion that destroys the Kremlin and implicates the IMF in the bombing, prompting the President to disavow them. Ethan and his squad, no longer assisted by the government, pursue Hendricks across the world, but they might be too late to prevent a catastrophe.
