Overview
In London, Sir Laurence Olivier is working on a film. Colin Clark, a young film student who is excited to participate, finds himself a role on the stage. As Marilyn Monroe arrives in London for the start of filming, the whole city is ecstatic to see the blonde beauty, though Olivier struggles to satisfy her many demands and acting ineptness, and Colin is impressed by her. Marilyn welcomes Colin into her inner universe, where she deals with her fame, appearance, and ambition to be a successful actor, which piques Colin’s interest.
