Van Wilder has been in college for way too long and is terrified of graduating, but his father soon notices something is wrong. Van must come up with the funds if he wishes to survive in college because his father avoids paying his son’s tuition fees, so he and his friends come up with a brilliant fund-raising idea: holding parties. Things become messy when the college magazine figures out and writer Gwen is assigned to do a story on Van Wilder.
