Nick Beame, an advertising executive, discovers that his wife is having an affair with his boss. In his desperation, he comes across a bumbling criminal whose alleged carjacking goes awry as Nick takes him for an unintentional joyride. Soon after, the deceived businessman and the inept thief form a relationship and devise a robbery-revenge plan. However, it turns out that the rivalry is not appreciated by some other offenders in the region.
