Charlie and Dan have been best mates and business associates for thirty years, and their Manhattan public relations agency is about to land a major contract with a Japanese firm. Dan is surprised when a woman he married on a drunken whim almost nine years ago (and had annulled the next day) turns up to remind him he’s the father of her children, now seven, and she’ll be in prison for 14 days for a political demonstration. Even if he’s up close and clueless, Dan volunteers to keep the tykes. Is there some way they can be dad and uncle, fulfill the kids’ needs, and yet land the account with Charlie’s help?
