Overview
OUR GODFATHER is a feature-length documentary on Tommaso Buscetta, the first high-ranking Italian mafia leader to defect from the Cosa Nostra. More than 400 Mafiosi were convicted as a result of Buscetta’s efforts. He became the world’s most wanted guy for the mob, and 11 members of his family were murdered in the process. “”In US criminal history, he was the most significant, safe, and endangered witness.”” The film reveals the Buscetta tale for the first time, with direct access to his relatives, who are cracking their silence after 30 years of silence.
