Overview
Blu, a macaw who was captured by pirates as a hatchling and never learned to run, now resides happily domesticated in Minnesota with his human friend Linda. Blu is believed to be the last of his kind, but when news arrives that Jewel, a lone girl, lives in Rio de Janeiro, Blu and Linda travel there to visit her. Blu and Jewel are kidnapped by animal traffickers, but they quickly flee and embark on a dangerous journey back to safety — and Linda.
