The two superpowers deal with territorial conflicts differently 50 years after a nuclear war. Every team fields a massive robot to compete in one-on-one fights in official tournaments, each piloted by a man identified as a jox (robot jockey). The fight for Alaska will be waged between two of the strongest. Achilles is a selfless warrior who battles for the Americans. Alexander, a Russian, is his opponent.
