Overview

Dewey Finn, a guitarist and vocalist who has been fired from his band and is short of funds, scrounges a position as a fifth-grade substitute instructor at a private school, where he quietly starts teaching his students the finer points of rock ‘n’ roll. Finn’s actions raise the suspicions of the school’s tough principal. Finn’s roommate, on the other hand, is completely unaware of his activities.
