Overview
Bruno befriends Shmuel, a child who stays on the other side of the fence where everyone seems to be wearing striped pajamas, while his family travels from their home in Berlin to a mysterious new house in Poland. Bruno embarks on a perilous trip beyond the camp’s walls, unaware of Shmuel’s plight as a Jewish inmate or the part his own Nazi father plays in his detention.
