Overview of the Situation

Every Challenge pits a group of cast members from previous seasons of reality shows against one another, splitting them into two teams based on various factors such as ethnicity, the show on which they first participated, whether they’re veterans or newcomers on the show, and so on. In order to gain awards and progress in the overall game, the two teams participate in a variety of missions.
