It’s vacation time for Chet Ripley, his wife Connie, and their two children, Buck and Ben, who live in Chicago. However, Connie’s obnoxious brother-in-law, Roman Craig, his partner, Kate, and the couple’s two daughters disrupt a peaceful weekend of fishing at a Wisconsin lakeside lodge. As the trip progresses, the Ripleys get more irritated with the stuffy Craig family.
