Overview

The year was 1956 in Pennsylvania. Frank Sheeran, an Irish war veteran who serves as a truck driver, encounters mobster Russell Bufalino by chance. Once Frank has earned Bufalino’s confidence, he is sent to Chicago to assist Jimmy Hoffa, an influential union leader with ties to organized crime, with whom Frank will sustain a close relationship for nearly two decades.
