For someone who has either been profoundly in love or deeply in debt, this book is for you.
A pair buys what seems to be the house of their dreams after being evicted from their Manhattan flat, only to be saddled with a bank-account-draining nightmare. As their rambling mansion falls apart around them, the two watch with amusement as everything—including the kitchen sink—disappears into the Money Pit.
