Jay Austin is currently working as a civilian police officer. Colonel Caldwell had been his commanding officer until he quit the military police after a dispute over how to handle an intoxicated driver years ago. Now, a string of cross-jurisdictional killings forces them to work together once more. Austin’s new friendship with Caldwell’s daughter isn’t improving matters.
