Val McKee and Earl Bassett, two Hick handymen, are struggling to make ends meet in the Nevada hamlet of Perfection, so they plan to quit against the advice of a shapely seismology coed who’s getting strange readings on her equipment. Val and Earl soon figure out what’s behind the readings: 30-foot-long carnivorous worms with a penchant for sucking their prey underwater.
