A brave party of prep school students embarks aboard an old-fashioned sailing ship in 1960. The oceangoing journey, led by Captain Christopher Sheldon, is meant to show the boys fortitude and obedience. When they are trapped in the clutches of a white squall wind, though, the young crew will receive some unforeseen survival training.
