The Blue Meanies seize over Pepperland, robbing it of all colour and music, shooting anti-music bombs, slamming citizens with green apples, and reducing the residents to stone with a big blue glove’s pointing finger. The Lord Admiral, being the only survivor, escapes in the yellow submarine and travels to Liverpool to enlist the assistance of the Beatles.
